About ONE, the Creator of One Punch Man
For those who’ve been following from the very beginning, the journey of One-Punch Man is as interesting as the show itself. The series started in 2009 as a webcomic by the mysterious creator known only as ONE. His art, rough in a way that’s endearing, and his humor and storytelling sharp. He captured a strong fanbase.
ONE continues posting his original webcomic on galaxyheavyblow.web.fc2.com (last update was October 30, 2025 as of this article’s writing). His work, especially the polished manga adaptation with illustrations by Yusuke Murata, has grown into a worldwide phenomenon.
